Our Foundations Teacher Training focuses on tradition, studentship, self-healing, trauma resilience, and justice, and in doing so, also focuses on the upending of the wellness and yoga “industry” by creating more avenues of access to and representation within the practice.
We need your help to reach more folks that want to center this kind of love and justice and healing as they learn to teach in their own communities. Trainings are expensive; they are often out of reach for folks on the margins or people experiencing income inequity. It is possible to remove this barrier to who gets to have access to wellness and healing, but we have to first acknowledge that the barrier exists, and then take action with love and wisdom to tear it down.
That is where you come in! This anonymous friend has generously offered to match any donation that comes in to assist us in providing equity tuition offsets so that more folks might have access to training. Any dollar you are able to offer becomes two. Two becomes four. And four becomes more and more, translating to more and more insipred, wise and compassionate teachers out there in the world. We can do together what we cannot do alone. Will you donate to the Yoga School Matching Grant Fund and help us make it possible for more justice-oriented yoga teachers to come here to grow, and to heal and lead in their communities?
