I completed my first teacher training in 2008, and continuing education is very important to me since our knowledge of the body, mind, and spirit are constantly evolving. I’ve studied Yoga As Therapy with Doug Keller, Biomechanics with Jules Mitchell, Trauma & Yoga with local neurobiologist Sarina Saturn and I have trained with numerous Iyengar and Anusara instructors, all the while endlessly researching on my own.  I completed my 300-hour yoga teacher training with Jules Mitchell in 2018.

 I was delivered to yoga via injuries from martial arts, and I have a background in rock climbing, Tum Pai Kajukenbo, Tai Chi, competitive snowboarding, and ski racing. I continue to learn to heal myself through yoga, breath, and connection.

 Playful flows and diversity in movements are what students will experience when attending my classes. What I wish for these students is that they learn more about their bodies and in turn, their spirit. After the movements and practices are over, I always hope they walk off their mats feeling empowered.
