This POC-led class will be a safe wellness space for those that identify as a Person of Color (POC) - aiming to provide a welcoming and community-oriented space to grow, heal, and support each other. This class is open to all levels, beginners are welcome and encouraged to come. We will be using numerous props to learn how to support our bodies in various poses so we can feel safe, comfortable, and more aware of our own bodies moving through space. Each week we will focus on a different area of the body while still being conscious of the body as a whole. There will be a combination of functional strength movement, breath-based asana practice, self-massage, and a guided breathing meditation. Come to one class or come to all!
Week 1: April 24 - Spine
Week 2: May 1 - Upper body (shoulders, arms, hands)
Week 3: May 8 - Lower body (hips, legs, feet)
